Questions
Is PaintBrush allowed on my poker site?
PaintBrush reads the hand histories your poker client saves, after you play. It never shows solver output while a poker client is running. Sites have their own rules on third-party software, so check yours.
Do my hand histories leave my computer?
No. Your database lives on your PC. When you ask Claude a question, the question and the query results Claude reads, which can include hand details and screen names, are sent to Anthropic through PaintBrush's server. Your hand history files are not uploaded.
Which sites does it import?
PokerStars (including the FanDuel client), BetMGM and partypoker, ACR and the Winning Poker Network, Ignition and Bovada, CoinPoker, and PokerTracker 4's hand archive. You can add any other folder of hand histories by hand.
Do I need PioSOLVER?
Only for Autosolve, on the Artist plan. Everything else works without a solver.
How much Claude do I get?
Pro comes with a generous monthly Claude allowance, and Artist with an (almost) unlimited one. A typical question costs a fraction of a cent, so it covers hundreds of questions a month, and packs top it up any time.
Is there a Mac version?
Not yet. PaintBrush runs on Windows 10 and 11.

Click Solve. Get the hand you played, solved.
PaintBrush builds the solver tree from the hand itself: its stack depth, the bet sizes that were used, the site's rake. Then you step through the hand with the strategy beside every decision.
- Almost no setup. Copy and paste your desired preflop ranges once. No pot or stacks to enter, no tree to build by hand.
- Your sizes, exactly. Every bet the hand made is in the tree at its real size.
- Every combo. See how often the strategy takes the line you took with the cards you held.
- Your hand, even after a mistake. If the strategy never takes your line with your exact cards, PaintBrush adds them to the range anyway, so they still get a strategy at every later decision. A 0% frequency flop play doesn't stop you seeing how well you played the turn and river.

Luck
Running bad, or playing bad? Now you can tell.
Every all-in, every card that hit or missed with a decision still ahead, every hand you were dealt: each one measured against its odds. Your stretch is replayed 20,000 times to show where your run ranks.
- Three kinds of luck, where other trackers stop at all-in EV.
- A truer win rate. Your results with the measured luck taken out, in a narrower range.
- Any stretch. Drag across the graph, or pick a filter, a site or an opponent.

Leaks
Leaks measured against winners, not against fish.
The leak finder sets each of your figures beside the range the winning regulars in your own database keep, in the same games, seat by seat. A figure is a leak only when it is outside that range by more than the sample's noise.
- Fish left out. Hands against known fish are left out by default: against a fish you should deviate, and those hands make sound play look like a leak.
- Every spot. Open-raise, 3bet, fold to 3bet, steals, c-bets, fold to c-bets, showdown and aggression.
- Anyone's leaks. Point it at another player or a whole tag group and read theirs.
